Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actor and singer from the United States. Her most well-known role was the role of Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012) in addition to Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). In addition, she played the leading character Jerrica Jem Benton on the film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida by her parents Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. Her younger sister is Ally. Aubrey was a performer at The Orlando Repertory Theatre in her young age for about 10 years. Aubrey graduated from Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speakers for the class in 2012. Harvard University admitted her, but she had to agree on her entry again the second time because of her Nashville performance. Peeples played a role as a guest in the film Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2012) Grey's Anatomy (2005). The actress appeared on TV on Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 and The Good Mother. She joined the cast in a major recurring role in an episode of the drama show Nashville where she played Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview for 2019 in NKD Magazine. Indiewire listed Peeples among the most talented actors below the age of 20 in September 2014
